Dr. Junzhi Liu receives RGC Early Career Award 2020/21

Dr. Junzhi Liu receives Early Career Award in 2020/21 from Research Grants Council (RGC) for his project "Exploring solution-phase synthetic approaches to nonalternant ring topologies in graphene nanostructures". The Research Grants Council (RGC) organised a ceremony to celebrate the achievements of a group of outstanding researchers who received awards under the Early Career Scheme.

HKU Science research rated high in CAS-HKU Joint Laboratories

New funding from the Mainland to the SKLs

22 scientific research units in Hong Kong were approved with 1 million RMB funding, of which 5 are The Partner State Key Laboratories of the University of Hong Kong, including the Partner State Key Laboratory of Synthetic Chemistry performing research on OLED-related luminescent materials. This research project is just a trial run, while the details on such as taxation would be discussed in a later time.
